About

Karl-Wilhelm Lagemann is a consultant specialising in Human Resources Management, organisational development and innovation. As co-founder and partner of Leiner + Partner – a HR Management Consultancy boutique – he uses an interdisciplinary and cross-generational approach to his work. He aims at putting the HR department on a more professional footing with the aid of the innovation method Design Thinking and looks at possible synergies resulting from that.

Using the Design Thinking approach, Karl-Wilhelm takes a fresh and visionary look at different areas of Personnel Management. He lets himself be challenged by questions revolving around the future of work and finds solutions by looking at HR management as well as corporate structure and culture. He is convinced that the creation of an innovation culture is imperative for organizations that want to look to the future with confidence. Karl-Wilhelm studied German-French Management with special focus on International Finance in Berlin and Paris. In 2016, he graduated with a M.Sc. During and after his studies he held worked in different HR roles (Head of HR, HRBP and Recruiter in the HR departments of i.a. Sanofi-Aventis, houzz Germany, Finisar Germany and at II-VI Incorporated). In 2017, he did a year-long training in Design Thinking at the Hasso-Plattner-Institute Potsdam.

As Design Thinking Coach he is able to combine his professional corporate experience with his Design Thinking skills to impresses with a high level of methodological and technical expertise.
As mentor he advises and accompanies students and young professionals of his former universities’ alumni association on educational and career opportunities.
